Pretty Crocheted Embroidery Hoop

Normally I take on projects that end up taking quite a while to finish because of their size. This weekend I decided I wanted to do a smaller project that I could do from start to finish in just a couple of days. I found a pattern on Etsy that I thought looked fun and I really love the way it turned out!

If you would also like to try this one, here's what you will need:

- The Pattern purchased from ATERGcrochet on Etsy available as an Instant Download (you get it in just a few minutes).
- An Embroidery Hoop - the pattern asks for a 20cm hoop, but I used a 24cm hoop as that's what I had and I also used a thicker yarn.
- 6 Colours of Yarn (I used 7 and the pattern asks for 'finger weight 100% cotton' but I think I used a thicker yarn because I had it and thought the colours would be perfect for this project!).
- Crochet hook (relevant to the yarn you choose to use).
- Wool needle.
- Scissors.

I had to alter my pattern slightly as it didn't quite fit in the hoop, but as I said, I used a thicker yarn. It was very easy to change though. I just made some of the double trebles, trebles instead.

You could do this in so many different colour variations and it adds such a fun splash of colour on a plain wall!

Happy crocheting!
